Sparkling Iwobi out of action for three weeks over ankle ligament

Super Eagles Midfielder, Alex Iwobi, is expected to be out of play for three weeks after he damaged his ligaments during Friday’s Everton FC loss to Manchester United.

The Nigerian International who have put up a remark form for his club was taken out of the field of play on a stretcher during the second half after a tackle by United’s Tyrell Malacia. The encounter was the FA Cup third round tie at the Old Trafford, where Everton lost 1-3 to Manchester United. Marcus Rashford, scored his fifth goal after setting up two others to score helping his club into the fourth round of the FA Cup. Iwobi’s injury is a further blow to Everton’s ambition who dropped point into the relegation zone after a home defeat by Brighton last week.
