Bauchi Assembly re-elects Suleiman as Speaker

“Bauchi State House of Assembly Speaker Abubakar Suleiman has been re-elected today”, he was re-elected unchallenged. The punch Newspaper reports

Suleiman represents the Ningi Central Constituency and is the immediate past Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria.

Also, Jamilu Barade, a member representing Bauchi metropolis, was elected deputy Speaker of the House.

They were both elected during the inauguration of the 10th Assembly of the House, which is now taking place at the Bauchi Assembly Complex.
