Ogundoyin Bags Best Performing State House of Assembly Speaker Award

The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly and Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has been recognized with the Best Performing State House of Assembly Speaker Award at the Africa Industrial and Development Conference and Awards 2024.

The prestigious award was presented during the Nigeria Middle East Investors Expo and Awards ceremony held at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

The African Industrial and Development Conference and Awards is an annual event dedicated to promoting industrial development, economic growth, and sustainable best practices across the African continent. It is also to promote cooperation between Africa and the Middle East.

The award acknowledges Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin’s outstanding leadership qualities and dedication to the development of Oyo State as a two term Speaker and as Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria.

Presenting the award, the Director, African Industrial and Development Conference and Awards, Aisha Salisu said, “The awards event is to recognize, reward, and celebrate organisations, institutions and individuals that are contributing to the innovation, progressive and inspirational changes taking place in terms of good governance, growth and development in the sector and the general economy in Africa.

The African Industrial and Development Conference and Awards is a high-level platform for government officials, business leaders, industry experts, investors and other stakeholders across Africa and beyond.
